Our Culinary Journey
Mazzaro Restaurant has started in 2008 as an extended part of their family business run by the mother, Jutarat Phothisoontorn, an owner of Mazzaro Boutique. The original restaurant menu featured homemade cuisine under the direction of the son, Chef Pin, Rompho Phothisoontorn, a restaurant’s owner and an executive chef. Chef Pin graduated product design degree from Rangsit University, however; his passion for culinary art led him to continue his education at Le Cordon Bleu Institute. In addition to having created his own menu, Chef Pin has derived secret Thai food recipe from his grandmother, Pharmacist Churat Phothisoontorn.
Through the past years, Mazzaro Restaurant has welcomed several VIP guests from Thailand and overseas such as Bradley Coopers, Zach Galifianakis, Renee Zellweger, Jean-Claude Van Damme, and Korean singer like Kim Junsu of Dongbangshinki band as well as Korean Boy Band like Infinite, not to mention a large number of other famous celebrities in Thailand.
Mazzaro Restaurant has formulated its collective experiences into crafted Thai-Italian menu items and modern contemporary decoration, which become Mazzaro’s signature style. Every single detail of each dishes has been taken care of by Chef Pin, from raw material selection to well-rounded cookery that is inherited from his grandmother. Mazzaro’s Italian provisions feature the finest ingredients from different countries in order to constantly refresh the menu choices. The cuisine serves up food that combines bold taste of the East with aesthetic presentation of the West.
Additionally, the Restaurant provides a variety of drink choices, including fine selections of liquor from different countries, Mazzaro’s Mixologist special cocktail creations, and notable wine list from all over the world at affordable prices. Thanakorn Sae- ung, the winner of Thailand’s Best Sommelier 2015 has curated a great range of beverage list for diverse sipping experience of Mazzaro’s customers.
Chef Pin also designed the restaurant interior atmosphere to be in relaxing environment according to his desire to make customers feel like dining at home. The area combines tones of wood, leather, and marble that constitute several seating corners of your preference. Altogether with friendly well-trained staff, your party with friends, family gathering, or romantic dinner with your loved one will feel exceptionally warm with our mindful services and flavorful dining experience.
Mazzaro Restaurant is located on Charoenkrung Road, entering Soi Charoenkrong 42/1 (Same entrance as Shangri-La Hotel). Take BTS to Saphan Taksin Station with five-minute walk or drive and park at Wat Suan-Plu behind the Restaurant.
